DALLAS ZOO AND CHILDREN'S AQUARIUM AT FAIR PARK FIELD TRIP ADMISSION
In order to receive a reduced admission rate for your education group at the Dallas Zoo or Children's Aquarium at Fair Park, reservations are required. Reservations are booked in the order which they are received, and reservations must be received at least 2 weeks prior to your requested visit date. Special discounted admission fees are available ONLY for the following types of groups: Public Schools, Private Schools, Homeschools, Daycares, Preschools/Headstarts, and Scout Groups.

Sea Squirts! Tidepool; Grades PreK-Kinder
Enrich your students' literacy development with this hands-on tidepool encounter. Students will increase their language skills as they listen to a natural history based story, read out loud, and then engage in an inquiry based ocean adventure! 30 minutes long.

Aquarium Close-Ups: Aquatic Adaptations; Grades 1-3
Gills, fins, scales and tails…how are aquatic animals suited to their homes? Find out in this live animal program which includes a visit to Stingray Bay! 45 minutes long.
Aquarium Close-Ups: Predator Instincts; Grades 2-12
Predators come in all shapes and sizes, from the tiny dragonfly nymph to the mighty shark! Learn all about aquatic predators in this exploration based program. (Program contains both indoor and outdoor components). 45 minutes long.
Aquatic Careers; Grades 5-12
Diving, chemistry, husbandry, cleaning…accounting? Discover the world of careers an aquarium has to offer, some which get you wet and some which keep you on land! 45 minutes long.

Guided Tour - Aquatic Habitats
This instructor-led program explores a variety of fresh and salt water habitats. Students are led through a variety of interactive stations where they learn the characteristics of fresh and salt water ecosystems and measure and test water to see how animals are perfectly adapted to these watery environments. (Reservations cannot be made during the dates of the State Fair of Texas.) Guided tours are 45 minutes long.

Mollusc Lab; Grades 5-12
Mollusc mania awaits in this hands-on, lab based program! Students will learn about the diversity of this large phylum, discover how adaptations help these animals survive in a variety of habitats, and discover just how giant a giant squid is! 60 minutes long.
COST (Mollusc Lab) $90 (up to 10 students). $9/per additional student. All program prices include field trip admission and 1 free adult per 10 students. *Prices are subject to change.

1. Complete an Education Reservation Form.
2. Return the completed form.
3. Receive your confirmation materials in the mail. Note: Your materials should arrive within 3 weeks of making your reservation.
